Pengembangan Modul Pendidikan Moral Berbasis Masyarakat untuk Anak Usia Dini di Majelis Taklim: Pendekatan Penelitian dan Pengembangan dalam Pendidikan Islam Nonformal

This research aims to develop a first moral education module for early childhood focusing on strengthening moral values and religious ethics within the Majelis Taklim of Ar-Rahmaniyyah Sukabumi. The study is motivated by the lack of structured, practical, and Islamic-based learning guidelines for mothers as primary educators at home. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the Borg and Gall model, including needs analysis, planning, material development, expert validation, revision, and limited trials. The validation results from material, media, and civics experts improved from 60–70% (feasible) to 82–100% (highly feasible), with a final average score of 4.3. Field testing involving 50 participants showed excellent results in content feasibility (94.8%), presentation (90.4%), graphics (94%), and moral-religious application (93.2%). The effectiveness test using a one-group pretest-posttest design revealed significant differences (p < 0.001) between pretest and posttest scores. The N-Gain analysis indicated high improvement in moral values (0.7243) and religious ethics (0.7650). These findings indicate that the developed module is valid, practical, and effective in enhancing children’s moral and religious values through active parental involvement, particularly mothers, and can be applied in similar community-based Islamic learning settings.
